Had a scary morning with tornados touching down in my parish. They missed my town, but had some really strong wind along with thunderstorms.
It's not the first time we've had severe weather on Easter Sunday. The last time it was severe like this was when I was in ICU during Easter Sunday of 2011. My ICU room had a TV and the room was right by the nurses station. There were doctors and nurses in my room all afternoon watching where the tornados would hit next. We had God watching over us that Sunday just like we had today.

Happy Easter! My parish’s name is Resurrection, so this is OUR holiday! And then end of the year of our 50th anniversary. It’s sad we could not all be together, but we will eventually make up for it.
