In my true skating fan mentality... she seems to be a bit of a headcase and I rarely wind up cheering for that sort of a competitor.
I think I'm sentimentally rooting for either Leanne Wong or Kayla DiCello to grab the last spot. I'd also be fine with Jordan. I just love the spirit and real "team" vibe we get from these women who have competed NCAA and I love what it brings to elite WAG.

Early thoughts - the WOGA leos the juniors are wearing are really pretty; Isabella Anzola has personality in spades in her floor routine; and Lavi Crain's bun has not only a Leanne Wong-size hair bow on the back but also multiple scrunchies and it's kinda awesome if a bit much but awesome because I appreciate the gymnasts who take the time to polish their look up beyond the awful messy bun look.

Thrilled that Spencer is home & live-blogging again, especially since NBC seems like they're not going to show a ton (although still SOOOOO much better than the year they spent 10 minutes watching Simone get her ankles taped).
(eta I'll give them credit, they have shown all of the main contenders, and they had a quick clip of Trinity. So sad for Trinity, I've been loving her return to elite - hope it's just stung ankles and she can compete more on Sunday)

Can’t you watch it on the US Gymnastics YouTube channel? I am watching it on that and they show most of the gymnasts. Tomorrow I will rewatch it on the nbc broadcast. Glad that Kayla is having a better meet. Biles looks even better than classic. Jades floor has really grown on me, really hope she makes it.

Kaliya Lincoln appears to have scratched after the first two events per the results page.
ETA - per Peacock, Trinity is out for the rest of the competition and Kaliya also is out due to a tweaked ankle injury that happened during podium training.

I have a "most polished look aka no messy buns" team and I'm pretty sure if we took them all we could still win gold even if they aren't the best team on paper - Shilese, Jade, Jordan, Leanne and Tiana.

That's the plan. She did well (for her) on bars. We'll see what her floor looks like by trials. Right now she's sitting in 2nd in vault behind Simone's monster score so I think she's fine on that.

Yeah I think Jade is fine on vault for making the team anyway. No one will match her there and she will not top Simone unless Simone has mistakes. I think Jade's team is smart in pacing her the way they are.
