Suni has mentioned being estranged from her parents in interviews. She said her sisters are "the only family she has left." It's not a big secret.

That does not mean that we are entitled to know what happened. I don’t think she’s made any comments on what happened and I think we should leave it at that.

She’ll be an alternate, just not a traveling alternate. There are 2 traveling and 3 non traveling.

I'm sure she is, but I'm also sure that most of the gymnasts prefer to be traveling alternates.

OTOH, I think all of the alternates know that the only reason they really had a real chance to make the team was because Shilese and Skye (and Kayla) were injured. Maybe that takes some of the sting out of it.

Well I was wrong about Roberson, Hezly was undeniable. Her ability to be a good backup on UB made the difference between her and Roberson and Tiana. The same is true for Jordan, as she didn't have the greatest night.

Jordan just seems very motherly. Like she gives off mom energy the way Aly gave off the mom energy.

I really love this team. Hezly has some wonderful qualities and while it's not ideal to have her make her major senior debut at the Olympics, she couldn't ask for a better group of teammates. The other four will build her up and give her all the love - and she's going to need it when she's helping lead the team in LA in 2028.
