Great presence of mind after tripping on the set up on the triple loop to change the jump sequence to a combination, and then add a double Axel late in the program.

125.35 = 1st Place

I'm on a laptop. I couldn't during the Pairs SP, but have been able to all day so far.

I want to see Kim skate to something dark and dramatic, but she does move beautifully.

I liked her Goth style better but when she does well she’s much more interesting than the other Korean girls.

HOW does Schild get positive GOE on these fugly, awkward jumps?

Is this her tribute to Kaori's last Olympic program, cause...

There's no program, the flip is definitely e, the jumps she does land are so weird in the air and don't have much flow out so the + GOE is questionable as is the rotation. But the basics really have improved (I'd argue they were maybe even worse than Mayindu not that long ago). Good for her.

Nice position changes in the flying spin to match the music, speaking of—what is this emo boy music? Jump landings not particularly secure—wide swinging free leg. All positive GOE, program not my cup of tea
