Gold on Gold: Lajoie & Lagha Cheer thread!

Yes.

As I said over in the Canadian dance thread, I think a realistic aim for the team this season is to push up to Canada #2, which would involve defending their silver medal at nationals and their 4CC bronze. It's hard to know yet whether their Cup of China scores are an outlier in the short term, but if they aren't, passing Fournier Beaudry & Sorensen is doable.
Well the great thing is you know there will be three teams next year with all them bunched up near or at the top.

Was out of town over the weekend, but I am so excited about how they did at CoC! :cheer2:

Score-wise they are right on the heels of FB&S!

I love FB&S, but this is correct.

Saw them live at Worlds and they were SO good. Amazed!!

They had the best programs of all the teams this season and nailed everything.

Their twizzles were by far the fastest and cleanest of the competition as well.

Congrats LaLa! Can’t wait to see what you bring us next season.

it's been such and up and down and up season for Marjo and Zak. starting the season with Zak's shoulder injury, to 2 silvers at the Grand Prixs, GPF debut, to Marjo's concussion, to 5th in the world. i hope they get their well deserved rest and come back even stronger next season, i'm so glad they finished 23/24 season on a high!

I was in line at the grocery store when I saw Marjorie's post, and fought tears in public. After they missed world's last year despite a near-perfect season, I can't express properly how happy I am for this finish, and how magic their FD performance and reaction was.

That’s a lot of smiling from Zach. I feel he gets mis-labelled as dour and sour way too much.

I suspect he's just one of those people who's internally/intellectual focused and people misinterpret his facial expressions to mean he's upset or pissed off when he's actually choreographing contemporary dances or composing music scores in his head.

Am copying to the dance thread so people can see non-grumpy Zac.

After watching and enjoying several more free dances from the top dance teams, for me, Marjorie and Zac have the stand-out free dance this year. I found myself in tears at the end of their performance at Skate Canada and think if I had watched it live I would have been sitting in a puddle. I know they will have to wait their turn and all that jazz but with a few teams going for the unusual, this dance stands out.
