Forum hiccuping?

And it's still playing, too! I left this thread, clicked on "Home" and it shows I'm not logged in. I come back to this thread and see my username again. It also shows the other threads as being "private" but that's because it looks like I'm not logged in ... or am I??

I'm rfisher when I first get on the main page but when I click on any thread or forum, I become myself again. I have a dual identity (cue Twilight Zone theme).

Same thing for me: rfisher on the home page, but OK once I enter any forum.

This is what's happening to me, too. I'm basically logged in on the subforums and threads but not on the main page.

I've been noticing that the home page has been glitching as has my notifications when displaying new posts. It appears it is showing older posts or threads that haven't actually been responded to since I last checked.

Oops I also posted this in the server upgrade thread because I assumed it was a problem related to the upgrade. I'm altai_rose, but only on the home page. Once I click to enter any of the forums, it switches me to BittyBug.

I restarted my browser, cleared my cache and all that other stuff and it's still doing it.

I have a different problem. I am seeing 52 alerts and 10 messages, both numbers are way too high for me. When I clicked on one of them, I got an error message and a suggestion to go back and refresh. I did that in different ways, including getting out of fsu completely. Still I kept getting error messages every time I tried to open the alerts or the messages. So I am not trying again. It seems I am able to read the threads and post here.
