Euros 2025 - Men SP: ‘Your Own Personal Jeepers (Rick n Roll)’

I mean Egadze trains at the same location where doping has taken place where Grassl missed his doping tests.
I don't know why everyone is acting like Grassl alone is the devil incarnate for going to Eteri and possibly-but-not-for-sure doping when that goes for each and every one of her skaters, including Egadze.

Like, yes, he wasn't a small Russian child when he joined her camp, so the move was more intentional, but also he was clearly going through some shit in his personal life at the time and was making erratic decisions left and right.

Don't get me wrong; I don't like him. I just don't see why I'm supposed to dislike him any more than other skaters with questionable ethics/evil coaches.

Lukas BRITSCHGI

pinning my hopes on Britschgi now, since pinning my hope on Adam who has been kind of hopeless all season is not very clever

4toe fall out hand down

yes, just go on and crush my hopes, why don't you? :drama:

The one positive about this competition is that so many skaters are going to be so close for the probably bronze medal that it adds excitement. I’d like to see younger Selevko get into the final group. To me, he still has the best overall program of the day.
Honestly, I think the silver is up for grabs too. A 7 point lead is nothing for Egadze to waste away.

No one cares who you dislike, if I'm being honest.

Most people dislike Eteri and everyone who trains with her because of the doping and exploitation of children. Grassl has the additional knock of actually missing doping tests and being suspended.

Thankfully it doesn’t seem like Gangsta’s Paradise is ever coming back. Truly one of the most bare-bones, worst programs I’ve ever seen and I’ve seen it all.

3T questionable. Jumps all looking rough in general but.. doing them?

How Adam stayed up on that 4S... That landing looked like a bad knee muscle tear waiting to happen.

I have to say I never thought much of Adam's artistry before but in the past 2 years he has really come a long way. Benoit Richaud is perfect for him.

Welcome back, Adam. Not sure if the jump landings were all okay but I just LOVE his skating. He's SO intense and emotes to the rafters.

Those jumps... Well, Adam got them done, but no way should any of us be handing him the gold. I think all those guys sitting 6-7 points of Egadze have just as much chance at gold as they do silver.

Cedric Tour on the screen to end the segment makes things a little better. And then there’s Judge Doom, trying to wreak havoc on Toon Town still after all these years.

3t was questionable but generally the rest was way better than anything else. I felt there's a certain disconnect between the energy of his skating and total lack of such from the music. And I hate the shirt.

But yeah.
What a fantastic event, pleasure to watch. Different styles, different programs, some excellent skating. The highlight for me were Los Selevkos, the pleasant surprise: Vinkour, the unpleasant non-surprise: Aymoz. But overall, I enjoyed almost of the guys, and thanks to them for that.
