i'll never forget my dance coach said he'd been in training to judge but he kept getting in trouble for actually judging the skating he was seeing and being too far off from the other "trained" judges so just just gave up

I imagine that happens more times than not unfortunately

Happened to me when I started trial judging singles (vs dance -- our dance judges were pretty decent)

Very classy, cute but junior-esque choreo. Mark needs a 4T or something other than the quick-turning 3A's if he's going to keep up. Lev has potential but he really slows down going into the jumps. Impressed though and this should easily beat the monstrosity of judging that just happened.
