Eromolina's interview with Lipnitskaya `The page is turned, I have a new life and new plans'

I my dear Tanbka..... what you call "bullshit" and why, as i noticed in the last 15+ years, is so subjective, that it is not even offensive.... :2faced:
Yeah of course, it's only you using the alternative facts and unreliable sources who could know the ultimate truth about Julia. You go on producing bullshit - ignoring criticism and providing nothing apart hilarity here. Please go on doing that.
I guess Julia will survive your disappointment in her - just imagine, she uses swear words now and again. In other words, she does what every teenager in Russia does now and again - I know, I work with them daily. Big deal. But where did you take that valuable information she ever swore at Averbukh? Why would she?
I'll repeat my questions: where's your proof Julia expected anything more material than a letter from Spielberg? Where's your proof she wanted to get to Moscow State University without exams?

;).. I am not trying to sell tickets to a show... I'm ok if you don't believe me.

Are you telling me not to criticize your alternative reality based on shitty Russian newspapers you mistranslated then? You won't get such leniency from me. Sorry not sorry.
I am not telling you to do, or asking for, anything...... calling an occurance "bullshit" time after time does not eliminate the facts of it happening.

Yeah, of course. And your failure to produce reliable sources of information for your assertions is an iron-cast proof that what you believe was what really happened. It is a fact because you choose to believe it.

..... or i don't feel, or don't have time to dig up fotos, videos, blogs, articles, interviews, having to translate and cut and paste them, then explain the context, etc., to prove one or two comments. you don't accept what is stated, by all means.

But here i have one ready for you, in respectable Sovsport.ru which is often quoted on FSU.. :D... AND! by the author Ermolina which Tanbka often translates.

About the "spin" Tutberidze had to give on Julia not showing up for the medal ceremony in China to keep her out of trouble. In the following interview which was not too publicized she said "Julia missed medal ceremonies before...3 times. She was upset about her placements".

That's a convenient way to assert anything - I can claim you stole my money, but then when you deny I'll tell you I can't be bothered producing proof you did it, but I know you did. Just because I say so.
I love such logic.
You're free to believe anything you want to, but stop pretending you care for Julia. You don't.

Stilling money is a bad analogy for this particular discussion.

Julia is my all time favorite skater, still is one after Sasha Cohen. It's nice to like both, a skater and a person. But unfortunately the more i read about her the less i liked her persona. I am not known to try to bring down "Russia, Russians or anyone who skates to Schindlers List or any jewish theme", on the contrary... :D

Right, we're into discussing every single transgression Julia ever committed? You know what? She's human, she makes mistakes. Big deal again - congratulations. She apologized for this, she was fined, episode over, apart from the likes of you, who like to pick on slightest things.
Pathetic, really

So, now that i gave you an article from a respectable publication, by a respectable writer whos' other article is the original topic of this discussion, which shows that Julia intentionally missed medal ceremony more than once, you're saying 'what's a big deal"? That's your option..... but that's the answer why i knew in advance not going to bother to dig up all other stuff... :D

The thing about the fake father is truly sick.
It is starting to look like that... All Julia had to do is take a DNA test, not because she has to, but because the issue has reached the level of Central Russian Channel 1 and it will hunt her if she does not end it.

Channel 1 has few very "junky" reality shows, but it is the main Russian Channel, and they don't produce shows without some previous research. It is said that Julia's old neighbor Valentina Popova recognized the man who claims to be her father and told a short story of him dating Julia's mother. There is an interview with that neighbor. That man said on public TV that he will take a DNA test. Julia should take DNA and get rid of him quickly if he is lying. She is a celebrity, and such situations do happen... like with many celebrities.

As I said, Julia will happily survive your disappointment in her character. You know what? Imagine this horror - she might not even notice it, because she's universally loved and admired for her dignity, courage, poise and wisdom. You'll deny she has all those traits, but your denial won't change much - the rest of the world actually have eyes of their own.
But by all means, go on diverting me.

You know what - you're out of luck, I'm a native speaker of Russian, and I call you on an intentional lie now. There is NO mention of a intentional missing of the medal ceremony in the article you provided, none. All it says is that it's not the first time. That's it - the rest is a spin you prefer to put on it.
Big deal, because I can't blame Julia for being distressed and forgetting about the timetable after the skate she had that day. If anything, her own coach should have taken care of her too. But again, Julia apologized, she paid the fine out of her pocket - what's the deal?
Go on, keep on diverting me further on.

You feel so bad for her that you yourself want to dig into her personal life by quoting the people you say should not be chasing her around. Sounds about right
I'd say you overestimate the ability to dig sarcasm in this case.
Nice to hear from you, btw. One of the few people from GS I truly miss. My sympathies about Julia's decision to retire - it was sure to come as a shock to both of us. But I can only admire her honesty, her integrity and her courage in going open about that dreaded diagnosis.

There seems to be some mild tension concerning the interpretation and/or translation of Lipnitskaya's quotes. Therefore, I have consulted the most accurate source possible, Google Translate, so we can all know exactly what was said.

Lipnitskaya, on Tutberidze: "Yeah, when that ***** told me I wasn't lifting my ****ing leg high enough in a spin, I told her to go eat a **** sandwich and then stuff my leg up her ****. It would just be another ****ing excuse to go to that butcher Dr. T*******. I wouldn't trust him to ***** my horse's *** but Eteri has had him pump her face with so much ****ing Botox that it's going to explode like the mother****ing Hindenburg and then she'll have Averbukh make a program for Medvedeva based on that ****!"

Lipnitskaya, on Steven Spielberg: "That tightwad got more ****ing free publicity for his black and white artsy-fartsy slab of **** than the Pope has *****! And all he could do is send me a ****ing letter! I guess I was a pretty gullible ****basket to think he wouldn't Jew me but what the ******ever."

Lipnitskaya, on getting into college: "I told that *****monster to ***** a visit to ******* if they didn't let me in for **********ing free! **** stupid entrance exams and grades and *****!! Their most famous student is Andrei "****** of ******" Lutai and he's more famous for *****ing his ***** on a cheap-*** website and committing ***** theft **** than for his skating!"

Lipnitskaya, on the Russian Federation: "Those *** ****ers tried to boss me the **** around but you can bet your ***** *** that the day I would have *****ed to their demands would be the day I ****ed my ***** with a *****! I have one final message for them: The next time any of you ********s try to **** with a ***** skater, I'm going to ***** a hot piece of ****** and ***** it at you so ***** your ***** will ****** ****** ***** ********* ******* and that's no *****ing ****!!!"

I know you're a Russian speaker, why would i post you a russian article otherwise?
"Юля трижды попадала в такие ситуации. В первый раз, будучи начинающей фигуристкой, лидируя после короткой программы, но в итоге став третьей, расстроилась и пропустила награждение в финале Кубка России"

It states: "It happened 3 times before with Julia. First time, when she started as a young skater, and being in the lead after the SP but ending up 3rd after LP, she became upset and missed the medal ceremony at the Russian Cup..."

:D...... "upset" is not reason to miss a medal ceremony. ..... and now you can say "oh, she was young, it is not a big deal"...

Yeah, of course. Her missing three medal ceremonies is an absolute proof how degraded Julia was at... 12, 13 and 16. Because repeating the same mistake three times proves you did something intentionally.
ETA: I've got classrooms of students repeating the same mistakes over and over again. From now on I'll believe they're really conspiring against me - because the notion teenagers might generally be be a little more disorganized than grown ups should never ever come into my mind.

But we're not discussing "how to interpret" Julia's misconducts..... we're discussing if certain accusations are true, and if she had misconducts. You're free to come up with excuses for her. Missing medal ceremony once because the athlete is not happy with her placement is a big deal for any athlete, let alone 3 times. It also speaks of Julia's personality for me. You can feel anything you want.

Yeah, sure, Julia has to follow your advice to a t. Because Russian television never lies. LOL

Russian television does have "junky reality shows", as i said it..... I did not give Julia any advise..... I stated what i think is a right solution. Next?

Yeah, right, of course, but I guess I'm much older and wiser than you, so I wouldn't blame a 19 year old for something they did when they were 12-13. I know I did unbelievably stupid things when I was at that age, I did those even later. I still continue making certain wrong choices, mistakes and transgressions, but it doesn't show I'm a demon of depravity.
But Julia is answerable for every misconduct ever since she was out of her cot, possibly. Whereas her grown up coach had nothing to do with her behavior at all. I get your point. Go on diverting me, by all means.

Next is this: who do you think you are to give any advice to her? LOL she has a head of her own, she can decide for herself what to do and what not to do. Whereas I am starting to doubt you're the brightest star in the sky, you know.

It's simple - any Russian speaker, having looked up this article, will see that you are lying, saying that it was three times intentionally. Even if the first time was really intentional, it's said in the article that the second time they just forgot to get to the ceremony in time. (Speaks a lot about the coach, in fact - isn't it a coach's job as well to remember about the official things - no matter if an athlete is 15 or 30?) And that incident in China was already discussed to death back then - they (both, again!) mixed up the time. Not to mention that there was partly fault of the organizers as well, as there was some mess with the timetable, or it kept changing, for what was known. Kovtun, who was there as well, confirmed in an interview that there was some mess with the timetable - and that he nearly left for the hotel, too, when he was stopped and told about the ceremony (and he was the winner, by the way, without any reasons to be "upset").

If person misses a medal ceremony because "she was upset" (vs. illness, missed bus, etc) is intentional vs. accidental. I can't be lying if i am posting the article which lists the events. Anyone can read it, in Russian or with Google translate... what's the purpose in lying?

That's an excellent question Tinami. What's the purpose in posting information from disreputable Russian tabloids? What is the point you are trying to make? Yulia is a bad girl? She caused her own anorexia? Her sex life caused her anorexia and retirement? She's ignored her biological father, etc etc? What is it?
