Edit function?

I've lost the edit function. Please advise, thanks.

If you're trying to edit your post after the 24-hour editing window has closed, you won't see the edit function on the bottom left of your post (to the right of the 'Report' button).

For some reason I was not able to edit a post several minutes after posting yesterday.

Today the edit function is there. I don't know what happened yesterday, but it doesn't matter.

It is because what you say is always so perfect it NEVER needs editing!
