He said they didn't say if it was a concussion or not.He said she had been dealing with a concussion and has been medically cleared. Hoping for the best![]()
I did not really follow it so take my comment with a grain of salt - but I know that having one injury can change how you react and even if it just a miniscule amount it could have a lot of impact in situations as these athlets find themselves in. So it might have been the injury or at least partly the injury and her reacting minimally different to a situation.Lindsey Vonn's injury isn't what caused her crash.
She clipped her arm. The injury didn't cause her crash. It could've happened to anyone going balls-to-the-wall in the downhill.I did not really follow it so take my comment with a grain of salt - but I know that having one injury can change how you react and even if it just a miniscule amount it could have a lot of impact in situations as these athlets find themselves in. He said she hit her head and was now medically cleared. If all she got was a cut lip or black eye, they'd have been on the plane for Milano last week & done the TE. It's pretty clear it was a concussion. He said they didn't say if it was a concussion or not.
She might not have had a concussion. The medical team might have been making sure she didn't have a concussion. He said she hit her head and was now medically cleared. yes, I think now especially, just being there takes a whole new meaning for them. I hope they can embrace itAll the best for them! May their Olympic experience be great!
One year, Angela Nikodinov was an alternate for Worlds and went on a vacation with her parents and no one could find her to tell her enough people had withdrawn that she was needed to compete. Can you tell us more about it?
They monitor you for 24 hours when you hit your head. It's been a lot longer than that. She might not have had a concussion. The medical team might have been making sure she didn't have a concussion.
Really too bad you can’t use these great diagnostic skills based on NO information to do something useful like cure cancerI did not really follow it so take my comment with a grain of salt - but I know that having one injury can change how you react and even if it just a miniscule amount it could have a lot of impact in situations as these athlets find themselves in. I read that she had a neck injury too. That would also take longer than 24 hours to heal. They monitor you for 24 hours when you hit your head. It's been a lot longer than that.
Where did you read that?I read that she had a neck injury too. That would also take longer than 24 hours to heal.
I read that too. Maybe the CBC article?Where did you read that?
Lindsey Vonn's injury isn't what caused her crash.

I thought it was in one of Devin Heroux’s reports?Where did you read that?
Other athletes have competed with an ACL injury. Vonn's training runs were fine. The ACL injury did not cause the crash.Racing 75+ mph down an icy mountain slope with a recent ACL injury was only begging for trouble imo.![]()
