The new exhibition program to Elastic Heart is so creative. It would have required so much practice to get the wrapping of the fabric just right! Do we know who did the choreography?

Here is the program from Intimissimi on Ice where they used it. The theme was Orpheus and Eurydice. Not sure who choreographed it.

They were working with Randi Strong and Ben Agosto for a program which would have to be the other one they do for SOI.

why does Chicago have to be so far away? (It is a 14 hour round trip and the closest stop on the tour this year to me). I want to see Meryl and Charlie more than ever after seeing these clips.

I feel ya! I'm in the same boat. :(

Here are three pics and a video clip from their Elastic Heart program:

From Phil Hersh's SOI Review:

Davis and White did a revised version – with different music, this one “Elastic Heart" by Sia - of a piece they first had performed at an Italian ice show last fall. The theme of star-crossed love was at the center of both versions, as was the long bolt of maroon cloth they artfully used to illustrate being trapped and liberated by passion.

Davis and White cleverly reassembled the program to complement the new music while maintaining an understated grace and flow in their movements and illustrating the motif with striking expressiveness in their faces and arms. This was 3 ½ minutes of breathtakingly beautiful story ballet on ice by two exceptional competitors (Olympic gold, two world titles, six U.S. titles) who have gone on to become consummate entertainers.

I thought I'd share this here too.

On one of Tessa's recent instagram pics (with her in a white robe promoting Starbucks) she was answering lots of fan comments. One person asked her whether she and Scott ever used fake names at Starbucks. She answered that for a while they were Kate and Joe (her mom and his dad) and that they also used Meryl and Charlie.

Meryl, Fedor, and Nathan Chen were in the audience tonight at Dancing With The Stars. Mirai gave Meryl a sweet shout out after her dance. Tom Bergeron said they were going to try and get her to dance next week. Not sure if he was serious or joking.

Jason B was there as well. Spotted him behind Adam when he was out in the audience taking selfies.

Went to the SOI show in Phoenix last night and Meryl and Charlie BLEW ME AWAY. SERIOUS CHILLS. My casual figure skating friend went home and looked up a bunch of their videos because she loved it as well.

Can I just say, the same. I attended SOI in Allentown, and although I previously liked Meryl and Charlie, I had no idea how good they were (which is totally on me for not following them) and was completely entranced by both their numbers.

I went for Jason, who of course blew me away, but so did Meryl and Charlie. Which was great, because I was expecting to love Jason, but they were a revelation.:saint:

It's so good to see so many positive reviews of M/C's programs and the SOI show in general! Thanks to everyone for sharing your thoughts. I love reading them! I'm still bummed that the show didn't come near me. From all the videos I've seen, the show looks so fantastic. I know I would've loved it.

Cheryl Burke attended the show in Anaheim with her fiance, Matthew Lawrence (brother of Joey, the actor), so did the choreographers and producers of Love On The Floor.

Here's two pics she shared:

Well, I did go to the San Jose show loving them already but they still found ways to surprise me. Meryl has developed lovely posture and line, and Charlie is now incredibly expressive. He used to look vaguely embarassed during their light hearted numbers, but I guess once you dance with penguins there's no point in holding back. No one looks happier skating in circles during the group numbers than he does.

I thought they showed more range than anyone else in the show ;):(:p. Amazing performers.
