Aww, just watched the Midwestern Sectionals on icenetwork and saw Avery Weishaus, Charlie's niece, and her partner Laurence Saint-Marie win juvenile mids! They were quite adorable and I was pretty impressed. Avery has become a very good little skater and her partner looked quite good, too. They for sure had the best speed and really enjoyed their expression. I know Charlie and Meryl are very proud!

I saw them, also. They won for their division!

Jacqui has been unleashed and is taking the show to instagram. Precious! It's only a matter of time until we get a shot of Tanith and Charlie with their son.

In the meantime, I wonder what Meryl and Charlie will do at SOI tonight? Sax and Adagio have had a good run, but it's a new year. I don't think they've posted any hints about new numbers, have they?

2017 was a big year.
1) Meryl and Charlie not competing at the Olympics
2) Meryl getting engaged to Fedor
3) Charlie and Tanith becoming parents

Looking forward to 2018 as it will be even better. Four years flew by just like that.

From one of the SOI clips on an instagram story, it looks like they were skating to Try by Pink in some gray costumes. The costumes for the second number were also different and they skated to "Baby, It's Cold Outside" (Meryl in a blue dress, Charlie in a white shirt and black pants)

Watched Charlie's niece skate in the Juvenile FD this afternoon. She certainly is taking her uncle's advice, love what you do, to heart. She looked like she was having a blast out there on the ice.
