Curious Random Question 2024 Year End

83, but nearly half were subscribe and save or gifts.

As few as possible. Not dissing anyone who did, but Jeff Bezos has more than enough money and Amazon warehouses are horrendously abusive places to work. I only use Amazon if there's absolutely no way to get the item anywhere else in a reasonable amount of time.

For those reasons I've tapered down amazon-buying to a few wish lists from people that I don't know personally, and thus don't know their addresses. I'm buying physical books from independent bookstores, audiobooks from Libro, and e-books elsewhere or borrowing them from the library.

What's the stance? Simply about Amazon, or about online delivery services in general?
Amazon is and has always been a predatory company, and Jeff Bezos is a class A twat.

I don’t drive and I prefer not to order by mail but there aren’t a lot of stores anymore, but I will pay mote
To order directly from a company.

I do understand why people
Who live in underserved retail areas, or folks with major economic insecurity shop Amazon. It’s the same as I feel about Walmart (fun fact: the only Walmart I’ve ever set foot in is in Kunming China). If you don’t have good choices, you go with the best available.
