Consumer Cellular experience?

I was looking at cell phone plans through Consumer Cellular and thinking they look quite a bit less expensive than what I'm paying now. The base plan I would use with them is $30 compared with $48 for my current plan (not including taxes). I'm thinking there must be a catch... Anyone have any experience with them?

Don't do it. You get what you pay for. The service is crap. When I had them, I would miss calls and texts. One text came though a week after the person sent it. Sometimes it won't let you call anyone either. I ended up going back to Verizon (pricy but I have service).
