Not that I'm expecting a different result in their eleventh hour appeal, but Drobiazko and Vanagas did write an open letter to the Lithuanian president earlier this week in support of Allison.

This is regarding 2026 Junior Worlds and not the Olympics, but I decided to post this March 4th Colorado news video here (thanks @Wyliefan!):

I came across this brief interview with Calhoun/Zheltyshev about the passport trouble that kept them out of Estonia.

Turns out Mark Zheltyshev does not have a Russian biometric passport which was required to enter Estonia as a Russian citizen.

Canada's Victoria Barakhtina was replaced for Junior Worlds and I assume that she had a similar issue.

Turns out Mark Zheltyshev does not have a Russian biometric passport which was required to enter Estonia as a Russian citizen.

Canada's Victoria Barakhtina was replaced for Junior Worlds and I assume that she had a similar issue.

You can take it with the grain of salt, but per Reddit, Victoria did get a visa for Estonia, but Skate Canada implemented a deadline on their side and she missed it, supposedly by one day.
