Dailymotion is the most useless app. It’s never possible to search for the name of an event and get the stream on the app. All I get is 2016 or 2021 videos. Trying to get it set up to watch the RD on my TV later. I’ll have to try using the Firestick browser and going directly to the web link posted above.

Apparently an 80s RD was what was needed to get ice dance ladies to embrace leggings. Looks like one skirt out of eight teams here, and some eye-catching bright pink leggings and lime green leg warmers on this warmup.

SkateJapanNews IG already has the videos up for Yamashita/Nagata and Kishimoto/Tamura - I did enjoy the robot program! Yamashita/Nagata had a pretty decent score too - hopefully good enough for the JSF to give them a host assignment to JGP Osaka.

Blondie is a great choice for Olivia! They look like they’re still getting used to skating with each other - some mismatched lines and cautious getting in and out of elements - which is totally understandable after only a few months together. But they already seem to have found their identity on ice, which a lot of teams (like Olivia and Adrian) struggle with for years and I’m excited to see them develop. They really need to get Tim out of all black though, for such a hammy skater he’s totally overshadowed by Olivia’s Debbie Harry hair.
