The thing I think won't change is the 1 ft to start because it's fast and reliable and they can get the levels on it. I hope the twizzles don't change because I think they are fabulous with that hop in the middle. I like the choreo seq ok, but I imagine it will get adjusted some as time goes on. Tbh they could change all the lifts lol but I kind of doubt they will because lifts aren't really their thing. I hope the midline step and choreographic slides stays exactly the same. Those are stunning. Ending needs to be smoothed out.

I've now watched this a few more times on a bigger screen... I like all the steps (but see them getting more flourishes as per their usual trajectory), also like the twizzles. Agree that the choreo steps will develop (I'm imagining different every time out tbh). I would alter the slide a bit - love the spread eagles - lets make them a longer moment? Scrap the choreo lift - feels a bit too similar to the curve lift.

I can't explain why but I just feel like those lifts could be placeholder? They've worked so hard this quad and every FD has featured a new lift (Summertime headstand curve lift, Perfume curve lift, Carmen straight line lift, edited rotational and edited curve lift.) They also had a new rotational exit in Batdance and a new (not that successful) stationary in Wicked Game. They also clearly put a lot of thought into the Lacrimosa FD... While lifts aren't their strength, they've put a lot of energy into getting better ones. They way that the NDDP lifts are placed exactly like Carmen makes this feel like a newly formed FD and so therefore, purely based on vibes, I think we'll see different lifts come the Nationals edition of this FD.

Christina restoried(?) someone's insta story of the start of their fd. It's hard to see the details of her dress but I think it looks gorgeous in motion at least lol. There's not really enough of the program to tell if it's really different than before, but they look very smooth and good.

Yeah I agree his shirt needs to be either tucked in or just more fitted. I'm afraid it will look a wee bit sloppy. But also that's easy enough to change.

Red goes well with the top he had at the last competition, so I hope they go back to that; it would really help with the whole packaging and their body lines. But boy, they are smooth, like butta.

The ending looks the most different from what I remember but I haven't gone back to watch the old vid to be sure lol

I love how dancey it looks though if that makes sense like this team is ice dancing!

I still wish there was a different lift in there to get away from the Carmen layout but they look great - the skating looks even better than last season. I think they ending used to be steps, choreo lift, slide (in some order) and now the lift is gone but can't quite figure what it's been replaced with - maybe choreo twizzles OR choreo hydroblade (that used to go into the slide)

Thanks for the sneak peek! They are so amazing, just so emotional and stunning. I really like Z/K but C/P just have more everything right now. I think they are the best of the US teams but I know how judging goes...

Green and red always go together, lol
I like it, I think it goes well with Anthony's shirt, I believe his shirt is gray but the green on her dress brings out the subtle green in his shirt.

I have sought the refuge of the fan thread to say that I think people are being a little harsh on CPom in the PBP thread. (Such is the way of PBP threads, I know.) With both teams having rough moments, they still came in ahead of Laj/Lag. In Canada. They gave a lot to the performance and I enjoyed it, even though it wasn't their best ever. I'm sure part of it is my bias showing, but I really did enjoy it.

I agree the Italians are done, stick a fork in it. Sorry for them the Olympics are in Italy but I don't think there is any way they are going to beat the several teams that are scoring better than them. That 118 FD was a strong signal that the judges have dumped them.

I don't pay for the PBP so luckily never have to endure it! However, I do think she didn't look herself at all... someone on Reddit (in the arena?) said she had a nose bleed just before, was skating with tissue in her nose until they went to centre ice and then immediately had tissues again afterwards...

That's really weird, because Bradie had a nosebleed in the locker room just before warmup yesterday! What goes on in that locker room?

ZK were wildly overscored last week in my opinion too... don't get me wrong they skated well but I still don't think that she's a complete ice dancer and they could at least skate in a closed hold for more than 2 seconds. We will see what happens tomorrow but the politics this season are wild. Seems a passport is worth a few points!

Their trump card is Vadym; she complements him well. Car/Pom have to objectively be head and shoulders above them.

Yup. It was disgusting to hear Chris talking about it - felt the same as pretty much everyone did during Skate to Milano when the tech panel leveled ReiMaj right out of an Olympic spot.

It looked more blue/teal on my screen. I found it distracting and didn't get it. But, I always like their skating more than their costumes. I think the program will evolve more before Nationals, when they hopefully will both be skating beautifully as American citizens.

I like it too. And her green earrings really pop. I seem to remember her wearing those earrings for Carmen as well, but they go much better with this dress.

I'm not on board with this program, even if it does look less frankensteined together than it did at Nebelhorn. Of course, I also really, really, really do not like the NDdP music, so this program already starts out at a deficit for me.

Judges made sure LaLa edged them out at Skate Canada. Blah. I liked LaLa but that was so obvious. Same with G/P over R/A. G/P looked like crap.

Christina and Anthony can definitely clean up the program, the music is fabulous, the skating needs to be just as powerful. Lvl 2 on dance spin? What the heck? I trust Scott will fix it.
