Broadway legend Carol Channing passes away at 97

Star of stage and screen, Carol Channing passed away at age 97 her family confirms.

She was best known for portraying Dolly Levi in "Hello Dolly" on Broadeay multiple times and international tours of the same show, and earned an Oscar nomination for "Throughly Modern Millie."
