I'm expecting great things from Aleksandra's instagram then! She always posts beautiful pictures of the places they go to with some pretty cool and interesting facts. She'd make a great tourist guide/promoter

Copying over from the Russian news thread:
Short Interview with Arthur Minchuk about Boikova/Kozlovskii and their plans for the upcoming season
https://rsport.ria.ru/20190813/1557464467.html

They are thinking about adding to 3toe-Euler-3sal combination and 3Lo (as they did in 2017/18 season) in the LP. Will start their season at FinTrophy ( @Hanna ).

Their new long program is to James Bond soundrack, but Minchuk doesn’t specify which compositions were chosen
Could these Italy show photos be of their James Bond FS?

SP test skate ("My Way"): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c_nwoLCmScM

Relevant excerpt from the GS article:
The Short Program to “My Way” by Frank Sinatra was mounted by Natalia Bestemianova and Igor Bobrin while Nikolai Morozov choreographed the long program to music from James Bond movies.
“Our coaches will always confirm the music,” Kozlovskii shared. “We are suggesting our options, but the coaches with their vision on how to make these programs successful have the last word about the music. But we like our programs.”
“In the free, we want to try for ourselves a new character,” added Boikova.
Minchuk pointed out that it was important to try a somewhat different style after their “Nutcracker” long program, although he feels that classical music works well for his team.
The coaches have a clear vision of the programs and Moskvina feels that the title “My Way” is symbolic. She feels that it is “her way” as a coach and that she has a way that she leads athletes on in their lives as athletes and people.

I like their new LP. They have outgrown music like The Nutcracker, which was perfect for them last year.

Their progression from last season is fantastic!

They've definitely upped the overall difficulty and transitions (I think they had the most of all the teams?) and its comforting to see that they appear to do it all smoothly and don't appear hesitant or jerky in their movements. They definitely command the ice with more confidence as well.

They've hit the ground running at Shanghai Trophy! 76.93, only .19 behind Peng/Jin for the lead

Pretty fantastic considering last year P/J were contending for a world medal, this is on their home turf and nobody made any mistakes. I'd say the judges are already moving them up to first class. Fingers crossed for the FS :cheer2:

Shanghai Trophy didn't count for ISU SB scores (they placed 2nd of 4 pairs there with a total score of 203.16) so congrats to B/K on their 1st place & 76.45 today in Kelowna, which is the highest SP score on the SB list so far this season. :)

I last time I was this scared and nervous about a skater's performance was during the Michelle Kwan years. That's how invested I've become in them!

I'm so happy with their performance I'm willing, for the moment, to ignore them getting lower PCS marks then the Canadians (I really hope that such a thing won't happen on neutral territory)

fingers crossed real hard for the FS!

In Canada there is often home cooking. I expect it in the LP as well. That’s why the visitors can’t afford any mistakes or near misses.

And - proving yet again that pairs skaters can land jumps. Her exit out of the throw was landed so softly it was magic. And, a chance to see Moskvina in the K&C - priceless.

They were simply gorgeous.

The kids delivered! This is what Moskvina’s coaching does. Skaters believe in themselves. Artistically they still need development, but they have established themselves as a consistent pair. Judges love that.

I think the FS is a whole new look and style for them that they aren't completely comfortable with yet so hopefully skating clean in Canada will give them more confidence in their next performance. Artistically I personally think they really come alive in the SP. They seem to have that down to perfection. I think they would do an amazing "My Sweet and Tender Beast" or "Die Fledermaus"

Congratulations on their first serious senior gold medal!
I've been in love with them from their very first JGP three years ago and look where they are now :cheer2:

Moskvina couldn't stop thanking everyone for support and for watching this event even at night (it was around 4am in St Petersburg), but it has to be other way round - it's us who should be thanking Tamara for everything she has done and continues doing for pairs skating!

She looked VERY happy in the k&c didn't she

I don't think anyone has mentioned it but does anyone know why Artur wasn't there with them?

First time seeing this team. I like them. Was surprised they are teenagers. She looks older than 17 but guess it's the makeup. But they are a lovely team, looks like they will be a team to watch.
