The 1983 World Pros would’ve most likely been towards the end of the calendar year in 1983, meaning they would’ve been skating to it at the same time. I see that Jayne and Chris did not compete until their Nationals that season, but I would imagine the program had been in the works months before debut. I’m sure someone else here knows the specifics.

By 1983, I mean December 1982. Landover was always dated for the following calendar year for some reason.

Ah yes, I see the listing for R/S having skated it the year before. I found the program on FSVids and it was pretty slow-moving. There was an opening movement, though, that was very similar to what T/D did in their version (he on his knees and she holding on and spinning him around on the ice).

I have been very confused by this thread. I thought that it was about listing off your favortie skating programs for music that everyone has skated to, but I think I have figured it out that it is just your favortie skating programs.

Mine are:
Keegan Messing - Always Look on the Bright Side of Life
Max Aaron - The Lion King
Ross Minor - Cowboy Western/Rednex
Timothy Dolensky - Mumford and Sons
Courtney Hicks - Anna Karenina
Tessa Hong - Caruso

-- Heavenly Joy

I totally agree there's too many Chaplins out there. Berezhnaya/Sikharulidze did it absolute best!

Lawrence of Arabia is not a warhorse. And Lion King is not a warhorse. Only among the 8-years old;)

Meditation in Thais has been used a lot. My favourite is the 1995 ex by Baiul (does that count or must it be a competition program?). Another favourite is the lp of Shishkova/Naumov.

Rachmaninov 2nd concerto 2nd Movement- Chen Lu
Scheherazade- Midori Ito
Manfred Symphony - Yuko KAVAGUTI / Alexander SMIRNOV

Kolyada does a strong Carmen this season, but my top 3 favorites will always be Eric Millot > Viktor Petrenko > Michael Weiss.
