Australia finally legalises Same Sex Marriage

It has just happened. Australian Parliament has finally legalised same sex marriage.

In the end only 4 members of the House of Representatives voted against it. It went through with a massive majority. Even members who had been opposed to it vote for it.

Lots of weddings next year.

Way to go, Australia! She was first to show us how to pass a sensible anti-murder gun law and now she's teaching us that marriage equality is morally right and fair to all Australians.

We could have had the marriage equality thing years ago. Our politicians have played with the LGBTQI community's discrimination and mental health for years.
