I have such a soft spot for this team, and so if they do decide to retire, I will miss them very much. They've always been the underdogs, imo, underdogs the other ice dance teams had to look over their shoulders and be on the lookout for - and of course, I loved it!!

So ideally I hope C/L continue to compete for at least a couple more seasons, maybe I selfishly want Marchei/Hotarek to continue and I know Anna’s decision plays a big role in that, but aside from that it seems like the progresss of Russian ice Dance isn’t guaranteed so C/L could be able to earn a couple more Euro silver medals and respectable world championship finishes for a couple of seasons in the future.
