According to this article, Krylova has confirmed her return to Russia.

Excerpt:

“I really return to Russia and, I think, for a long time - I feel that in Detroit I have buried myself in some kind of creative impasse,” said the ex-skater. “I can not yet talk about my future work in detail, but it is coordinated with Tchaikovskaya, I plan to work, and with the leadership of FFKKR. Everyone took my return positively. There are some preliminary agreements with skaters, I really want to work for my country and I hope that this work will be a step forward for me.

oy!... the bears in down town Moscow got bigger and scarier... :D

I am sure she'll be fine. She comes to Moscow frequently enough, for competition and other reasons...

Oh I know, I am sure she'll be fine as well, I know she grew up there. I would've made more sense not to put an ellipse in there (and Moscow is so not my place having been there before, better her than me )

Good. Her returning will help the state of Russian ice dance which is dire in the senior's rn.

Yes it’s very clear Russian ice dance is in a catastrophically awful state and the joke of the world and hopefully she can teach zhulin, kustarova , svinan and zhuk how ijs works in 2018 and level 4’s are important. Impart to her skaters or whoever she trains what ijs has meant for dance.

I watched Masquerade Waltz, Tosca and Carmen last night lol!!

I'm gonna lose whatever is left of my ice dance credibility around here and say that her and Fedorov's 1993 Worlds Latin FD that looked like it belonged in the pre-Torvill/Dean days is one of my favorite routines to watch. So much energy and dancing in that program.

Well, H/B are not precisely stellar. B/S and S/B are getting better results than H/B. But if Anjelika and Pasquale were having problems, maybe that translated to their job and it could get better now being separated.

It's cool we all have skeletons... ;)

With Vladimir this was my fave program of hers

If both Krylova and Tchernyshev will be living in Russia, I hope the Russian Fed is smart and tries to have them collaborate with the Russian dance teams. I think that would prove to be a fruitful combination.

I absolutely love her and wish her lots of success. I never felt that she and Ovsiannikov quite got the attention they deserved and their Masquerade Waltz will always be one of my favorite programs.

You mean this? Spanish Fly Metropolis: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AuP8W7jYqcA

Even though that video quality is amazing, I preferred their performance at 1993 Worlds because there was a freshness that routine had compared to the Olympics where they seemed a bit distracted (going back to an old program during the season and especially in ice dance back then is a sign that things aren’t going too well).

Krylova was too OTT for my tastes. I did like their olympic 98 Jive though they really got into it.Hated that Jungle FD I think it was 99 worlds where they beat A/P lovely MITIM FD.

I don’t mind their 1999 win because I felt A/P’s program was sort of empty.

Sounds like she’s being called back to the mothership :P I wonder how marina escapes it.

Imagine if skate Canada decided Orser could only work with Canadian skaters?
