Eh, Faula/Belle are improving in fits & starts - I could see them displacing Les Kovs during the next Oly cycle. Wessenberg/Strekalin are too new to make any judgment quite yet; Ehrhard/Pellegris definitely won't displace them. Of the juniors - Telemaque/Coulon have had a really rough season & I'm not sure what their long-term potential is. We'll see what pans out with the rest of their junior teams. They don't have much internal competition so they can do whatever. Vouilllamoz went to Switzerland and the other seniors are no teknick. There are some decent juniors but they won't be senior ready for a few years.
That is fair, honestly at this point my issue isn't even that they're older, it's that they have an injury history I'm finding kind of concerning and that makes it stressful to watch them skate. Watching Camille dislocate her shoulder on a fall once was enough.Les Kovs don't have much internal competition so they can do whatever. Vouilllamoz went to Switzerland and the other seniors are no teknick. There are some decent juniors but they won't be senior ready for a few years.

I think it was last summer. Pretty sure he's been in the KnC with them all season, but hard to recall for sure.I know this makes me look bad for not noticing but did LeKovs switch to Bruno after the season started?
at Les Marrieds staying in, but you know, if they can manage to not be totally broken (big if) by 2030, why not. I haven't been impressed with the young French pair skaters. I think Mark just said he hadn't and that it was something that would work better for them next year (to have a full year).I know this makes me look bad for not noticing but did LeKovs switch to Bruno after the season started?
I completely agree with this. Camille seems very happy with their skate here. They looked happy in the K/C at Olys too. So, if skating is still bringing them joy and they can put the injuries behind them, then go for it.This is the first year I like both programs from the Kovalevs (which Pavel co-choreographed). If their health holds and they keep improving, why not keep going.
