2026 Worlds Mens SP - Czech-ered His-tory

I adore Yuma's skating with every fiber of my being, but I generally agree with this. I really want medal-winning performances.
I think Yuma's SP might be my favorite show program of all time. I could watch it a thousand times. But does that make for a good competitive program?

If he lands the jumps? Absolutely.

For a program that is more show than competitive, I'd look at Aymoz's SP.

(Or Ma's horrific FS, but that wouldn't even be a good show program :scream: )

Mark (paraphrased): This score was close to the SP score for last year's bronze medalist. That makes you a World medal contender.

Me: Oh, really? Because I seem to remember the bronze medalist the year before being in 19th place after the SP, and I can assure you that score would not make most people medal contenders.

Finally caught up. North America looks solid and Emily’s man was amazeballs. Happy for Aymoz and Fa as well.

Very happy with the top four. Beyond impressed with Gogolev's consistency this season, and seeing him develop a bit artistically, although there's still work to do. Sad for Yuma, but honestly he's still got a good chance to climb up on the podium as Adam and Aleksandr aren't 100% reliable.

I expect the FS will see lots of movement though, as always. Like in pairs, all these guys seem beyond exhausted though.

Don't remember seeing Kuperman before. Def one to watch; hope his FS is as promising. And I hope Marsak puts his Olympic free behind him and skates much better here in Prague.

Kuperman was skating Junior last season, he’s only 18. I think he came in FORTH in at least 2 JGPs which of course is beyond frustrating. He and the newly paired Israeli dance team are really talented and I have hopes for them. :)

Dear Ilia:
1. Burn those poop colored SP trousers. NOW.
2. I want your summer to be ice dance and dance training. Your knees are stiff, your body is stiffer (though improved) and your skills pale in comparison to Yuma.

Also, per B E N O I T, Da Vinci had bouts of mania.
