I love Jirenbayev's skating, so of course his jumps are of the cross-your-fingers-and-hope-for-the-best variety. If he could only control them a bit more.

Not likely to qualify, but what a lovely skater. Much more smooth than the reigning Olympic champion

Here this morning with Bandit having been fed and now situated on the sofa next to me. Four-cheese pizza for a dead o' night snack since it is way too early to count for breakfast.

Ari Z's got quite the look on in the KnC - not sure I'd mix a small dark blue-white floral print dress shirt with a sky blue-white check/plaid sports coat.

It'll be interesting to see who makes the FS. Last year the lowest score to make the FS was 73.00 - we'll see if bar will be higher or lower than that. Even if Daniliants doesn't make the FS he's improved his SP score from Worlds last year by 20 points!

LOL - Well, now we know why Jason waited to withdraw. He didn't want to deprive the audience in Prague of a Riverdance SP in the men's event so he waited until after Junhwan withdrew and Younghyun was entered.

I love that he brought so much energy to the step sequence and actually used the fast part of the music appropriately; so many skaters who use this music just kind of plod through that part.

After they finally let Boyang go (let his soul rest in peace), I don't see why this guy wasn't sent to the Olympics.

Looking at his wild edges, I also give him "the most likely to trip on a random crossover" award.

I've always been a big cheerleader of the Turkish team, I like Alp Eren too.

Uhm, well, the last skater in the first group, for starters. Turkish guy is the 5th in the group. Still have Nordeback to go.
