2026 US Nationals Free Dance "Nix You"

Obligatory rant that NBC shows the max amount of points available per element in dance and then the total achieved. Hence, every final score looks low in comparison. In the other disciplines, NBC puts the element’s point value before GOE is added and subtracted and then the second box shows the total earned with GOE, making the elements look more impressive. They should use that system for all disciplines.

Especially on the Choreo Steps. First two teams were red.

Error for him on twizzles, I felt like their edges looked deeper in the RD and today they were more flat

I know they haven't been together long, but rather slow and a lot of issues transitioning in and out of elements. I know Flores has previously had a lot of admirers here, but she isn't standing out more than several other lower ranked women here.

They were better in the rhythm dance, here today they look laboured and music doesn't help a lot, still see good qualities as a couple for such a short time together

LOL - I didn't even notice! I also wasn't paying super-close attention to them as I'm still in my "just woke from a satisfying nap" mode and not fully ramped up yet for the rest of the day's skating.

A little out of alignment with each other at beginning, then calmed down, Beautiful curve lift, elegant and extended, they create a mood
