2026 US Nationals Free Dance "Nix You"

Obligatory rant that NBC shows the max amount of points available per element in dance and then the total achieved. Hence, every final score looks low in comparison. In the other disciplines, NBC puts the element’s point value before GOE is added and subtracted and then the second box shows the total earned with GOE, making the elements look more impressive. They should use that system for all disciplines. :soapbox:
Especially on the Choreo Steps. First two teams were red.

I really liked them, hope they keep improving, their lifts are gorgeous and have some style of their own

An individual member. :sekret:

I wish they would say "It's their nationals debut" instead of "it's their debut as a team here at nationals." It would be less confusing.

They were better in the rhythm dance, here today they look laboured and music doesn't help a lot, still see good qualities as a couple for such a short time together

Creative leap jump into their twizzles, I like his presence on the ice and way he equals presents her

Cui/Roger's the class of this first group, and yes... I know we haven't endured the upcoming ELO program next. :scream:

I can't believe @Karen-W hasn't commentedon this team's dangling ribbons. It's a pretty unique variation on whickety-whack.

Also, I like this team because they are pretty.
LOL - I didn't even notice! I also wasn't paying super-close attention to them as I'm still in my "just woke from a satisfying nap" mode and not fully ramped up yet for the rest of the day's skating.

Do Cui and Rogers have what it takes to move up and really compete next quad?

Cui/Rogers

A little out of alignment with each other at beginning, then calmed down, Beautiful curve lift, elegant and extended, they create a mood
