2026 U.S. Nationals - St. Louis!

Nothing yet
Just noticed that Robert at USFS replied today. He confirmed that all practices are included with an all event ticket. He also shared this in regard to getting in to said practices...

"There is not a separate ticket for practices, just the color denoting all-access tickets. This should be added to all tickets downloaded after the 29th."

I'm not sure what that means, exactly. The color will be added after the 29th?? Or tickets needed to be downloaded after that date?? But anyway, I guess they look different.

I downloaded all my tickets to my Wallet a few weeks ago and they all say “All Session Presale” on them.

Yes, I downloaded my tickets months ago and they also say "All Session Presale"

There were no novice/junior tickets to download at that time, guess I'll venture back to Ticketmaster for the few events I may be able to get to with my work schedule.

12 skaters across five skating clubs will represent St Louis [as sweepers] at this national event (Dec. 23, 2025):
The St. Louis Sports Commission, the local organizing committee for the 2026 Prevagen U.S. Figure Skating Championships, is pleased to announce the local skaters who have been selected to be ice sweeper volunteers at the Championships in January.
Sweepers are young skaters (aged 8-14) who will collect the stuffed animals and soft gifts thrown on the ice after a skater’s performance during the five-day event. More than 50 skaters from the St. Louis region were chosen for their skating ability, personality, and positive attitude.

USFS' Build-A-Bear partnership press release (Dec. 22, 2025): https://usfigureskating.org/news/20...prevagen-us-figure-skating-championships.aspx
U.S. Figure Skating is thrilled to announce a heartwarming partnership with Build-A-Bear Workshop, the beloved St. Louis–based brand known for "adding a little more heart to life." For the first time ever, Build-A-Bear will serve as the Official Plush and Tossie of the 2026 Prevagen U.S. Figure Skating Championships, bringing an iconic tradition to life in an unforgettable way. [...]
As part of the celebration, Build-A-Bear will be on-site at the Championships with a delightful selection of furry friends available for fans to purchase. These exclusive bears offer a fun and memorable way to cheer on athletes — and, in true figure skating tradition, be tossed onto the ice to mark the moment.

Figure Skating Icon Kristi Yamaguchi To Accept 2025 Stan Musial Lifetime Achievement Award For Sportsmanship

.... Yamaguchi will accept the highest award for sportsmanship at this year’s Musial Awards presented by Maryville University on November 22 at Stifel Theatre in St. Louis. The special award recognizes iconic sports figures who have embodied class, dignity, generosity, integrity, and excellence throughout their lives and careers. Previous recipients include Bob Costas, Bill Bradley, Albert Pujols, Wayne & Janet Gretzky, Hank Aaron, Bart Conner & Nadia Comaneci, Jim Thome, Jackie Joyner-Kersee, Cal Ripken, Jr., Arnold Palmer, and Joe Torre.
“We are thrilled that Kristi Yamaguchi is receiving the pinnacle honor bestowed at the Musial Awards,” said Marc Schreiber, president of the St. Louis Sports Commission and executive producer of the Musial Awards.
... It is named for St. Louis Cardinals legend Stan Musial, a beloved baseball icon and civic ambassador, who was the ultimate good sport. ...
The Musial Awards will air throughout the country on CBS on December 28. ...

Press release does not mention that St. Louis will host Nats in Jan 2026, but I'm posting in this thread because I'm guessing that one way or another, USFS will find a way to congratulate Kristi and to weave in a plug for Nats.
(Even though awards will air on CBS.)
CBS is showing the Musial Awards now - don't know if Kristi's award presentation has not happened yet (20 mins. to go in Eastern time zone).

Is anyone else staying at the Magnolia? (Marriott property). I’ve stayed there before and it’s near transit station.
Union station hotels were full & we earn points here.

But I’d love to connect with anyone else staying there.

Pack an umbrella as there is apparently a decent chance for rain later in the week, just in time for senior competition to start. And a chance for a rain/snow event on the Sunday of the gala/Olympic team announcement.

However, other than Sunday (1/11) the current forecast is above average with temps hitting 50°F or above four days next week as highs.

I have all event tickets. I just got an email from Ticketmaster that my Pairs Short ticket has expired and is no longer in my wallet! Any idea what is going on?

So far all my tickets are still intact in my wallet. I’ll let you know if that changes!

I've found a couple of issues with the colored schedule (still dated 11/24/2025). Folks planning to attend Nationals might want to modify it to avoid confusion:

- Due to a mispositioned page break, the Centene practices and events for Tuesday appear on page 1 while the main-arena practices appear on page 2. Anyone thinking about skipping some of the Centene competitive events to see practices downtown might want to paste a copy of the main-arena schedule onto page 1 for easy reference.

- The schedule block for the Championship Women's Short Program on Wednesday includes what I assume are the correct starting and ending times in text form, but the block itself doesn't extend as late as it should. Don't glance at that schedule and think you'll be leaving the arena around 9:15 PM on Wednesday night; the Women's SP is scheduled to run about as late as the Men's SP on Thursday.

I re-added all the tickets to my wallet just the other day (they are a different color now). Maybe try that?

I didn't see an opportunity to re-add the tickets to my Google Wallet, just to view them in the wallet. As I viewed each one, the background changed to a sort of peacock blue.

I suspect the same thing will happen if the people you've transferred tickets to do the same thing. I did it from am.ticketmaster.com.

Has anyone heard anything about a definite schedule for a shuttle to Centenne from downtown or the arena? They asked me where I was staying, but never heard anything else. It seems a little late.

The only tickets in my apple wallet that “expired” were my tickets for the centene center. The new ones I downloaded are now lime green and say VIP which I am guessing is because we have front row seats at Enterprise center.

I’m not going to the Junior events, but I looked at my tickets out of curiosity and they just say GA (general admission). I thought all FOFS members had VIP.

Every US Figure Skating Championship that I have been to (4 now) the novice/junior events have always been at the same arena as the seniors. This will be new for me and to be honest, not happy about it. My questions is, at this Centene Arena, please tell me they will be taking down the hockey glass for this event, that we will not have to watch through the glass at the skaters.
@Jwiens28 I spoke to a nice woman at the St. Louis Sports Commission earlier today and she told me the hockey glass has/will come down for Nationals in the competition rink ("USA Arena") at Centene. If you look at the Facility Map, the USA Arena is next to the NHL Rink which is the practice rink for the Juniors & Novices: https://www.centenecommunityicecenter.com/about-us/facility-overview
