Hi everyone. Finally, I'm here for an Olympic skating event that I can just sit and enjoy as I don't have one favorite woman I'm rooting for. So, this will be much more relaxing for me than the other 3 disciplines. No nail-biting moments for me ... well, maybe a bit for Amber and, of course, I'm hoping Maddie Schizas will have a great skate. So, GOOD LUCK to all the competitors. Am I the only one who finds this whole "Blade Angels" moniker to be extremely cringe? It's like USFS can't get out of the whole Ice Princess mindset but they know people don't like to be called princesses anymore so they changed it to Angels.

The three US women chose this name for themselves and have explained the discussion that went into it. It's not about "princess" at all. It's about Charlie's Angels.

I don't know how it can be anything to do with USFSA when they picked it.

You can find it cringe, but if it's cringe, it's still what they picked.
