Kinda feel bad for Adelia. She really needed a 3A in the short program to stay in the conversation for medals. I don't see that making the final group.

I dunno... unless the judges go super-high and we have clean skates from the rest of the top women, that could very well make the final group for the FS. Who the hell did Eteri bribe for those scores?

The score needed to make the final group at worlds last year was 69.18, so it very well could. And if she does do two quads, it's still possible she could win.

Lets not gaslight ourselves here.

Lacking speed throughout the performance, and maybe the slowest entry into a triple-triple combination I've ever seen.

Meda’s dress seems somehow a size too large; I think it’s the too-long dropped waist and the too-long fluttery bits on arms and skirt. Inner Dick says she needs to turn her hip out more in her layback, but her Bielman has a nice roundedness to it. Pretty skate and amazing smiles as she leaves the ice. Moment had, no big mistakes. She is now an Olympian!

Yes, she did seem slow. And then, of course, there's the -2 GOE she deserves for hauling those tights down over her skates.

I didn't realize Eteri can't be in the kiss and cry. She might be more upset about the shot NBC just aired of her backstage in very unforgiving lighting.

Petrosian did fine. Her combo was still quite effortful, and landed without a lot of speed.

She'll probably be in the final group, but as in pairs, we may have a medalist from the penultimate group.
