She was distraught in practices at Worlds before the short, crying at the boards because it wasn't going well. Clean short and an Olympic ticket and then Euros and this. SO SO HAPPY for her

It's a delight seeing Julia at the Olympics and she's doing the best she has ever skated!
But in my heart she will always remain that girl with the...ermm.... cello on her back.

She should revisit it and use a Kate Bush medley that includes "Babooshka".

This is gonna shoot right up to my top Olympic moments. She's SO happy 45 seconds before the program is even done. Give her all the PCS, too. Those jumps are the most obviously rotated probably in the entire field.

she had NOOO triples at 14. she is a late bloomer. the 3lutz- which is so gorgeous!! - she only landed in competitions for the first time in the mid 20s!
