Very true! The only thing I don't care for in the team event is the thought that a team like them will get a medal while a top team like G/P may retire without one. Of course that's not their fault and they still contributed and were enjoyable, and it's just the nature of the event.

Especially since G/P should have one from 2022.

Evan is 6'2", he's probably been the tallest on every US team since Simon Shnapir retired.

Every point mattered in the end. It mattered that they beat FB/C in the RD and it mattered that Ellie and Danny beat Sui & Han in the SP and Lia & Trennt in the LP. That Amber didn't fall apart and finish lower after the first two jumps were messy.

Ellie and Danny definitely look the happiest. Everyone else has to worry about the individual events but they know they are not gonna medal again but they were the clutch performers that got the gold.

If Danny retires I hope Ellie stays in. I don't know who she could be paired with but I feel like she's just coming into her own and she's still super young.

Evan was teary-eyed too! And Danny was definitely emotional.

This podium all looks so happy. It was a hard-fought, exciting competition and they should all be proud of what they accomplished.

Cannot wait for ice dance to get started and for Chock & Bates to win another gold.

I love team Japan. It's much harder to lose when you are so close, but the fight they put up was so impressive.
