What a ride she's had. Four years ago her biggest accomplishment was qualifying for Nats in junior pairs.

What an exciting team event! I have been feeling poorly with a bad cold but seeing Ellie and Danny skate so clean and beautiful put a huge smile on my face and lifted my spirits! So happy for team USA.

A lot of the USA gear is really nice. Adam Rippon has a real of him unpacking his USA gear for NBC.

Soto looks better now--probably just the emotion of it all. I hope. Yuma's clearly excited. No one's more excited in team Japan than K/M. But no one's more excited than the Italians. Alysa having a full conversation with the medal presenter

What a great TE. France almost qualified, and Kevin skated well. IN EUROPE. Vladimir Samoilov had the skate of his life. Boyang did China proud. Gogolev having the competition of his life at the Olympics. Ellie STOOD UP. Ilia showed he was human and and Alysa and Amber hopefully got their nerves out, and Amber always skates better from behind. Yuma beat Ilia, and hopefully that lights a fire under both for the men's. I want Japan to win Gold in singles SO BAD now. I love the TE first--it's like a great teaser and it's a nice overview of skating and skaters for four-year fans.

I was awfully happy for Evan and Madison

after the disappointment in no medal ceremony at the last games and the fact that he led a lot of of the effort to get team USA their gold last time it has to be very special for him to get it standing on the podium at the venue this time.

But I do admit that Danny and Ellie won the night for me. It was the best I’ve ever seen them skate and they both just seem overjoyed.

Danny & Ellie as well as Matteo were my highlights of this final day of the Team Event. Really clutch performances that the USA & Italy needed.

It'll be interesting to see how the ice dance scores in the TE compare to the individual. They were very different last year.

It's too bad the short track schedule couldn't have been made so that there was a break tomorrow instead of Thursday.

Nothing here about Gogolov. He`s an amazing story. Nothing really in seniors. First his technical started coming together. Plus, during the season his skating got better to look at. If his body holds up he`ll be important the next few years.

Now, it seems like the opinion is shifting more to thinking people will skate better in the individual, if they have a skate to get the nerves/errors out, first. What are people thinking, now? Maybe it depends on the skater.

Depends on the skater and their performances. It could help or hurt them to have the TE first. I still kind of want it last but I can see the arguments for having it first.

If I didn't know who Alysa Liu was and I just saw her in Team USA gear I would 1000% think she was a snowboarder. She has the whole vibe.
