I still remember when Matteo was "baby Rizzo" in 2018. I remember him doing a good job in the team event, Italy getting close to the podium and me thinking maybe they can get there one day. And now they did, with "no longer baby" Rizzo and his clutch performance. Big big congrats to Team Italy.

This is the biggest no-stress skate Gogolev ever will have. He’s interesting and close to being really really good, I’d love to see him break through to that next level.

This scratching around is barely watchable. But good for him, a decent performance by all accounts.

Even though I thought it would be cool for Georgia to medal, Italy 100% deserved it overall and it was impossible not to smile at their joy!

& M/B still have a decent shot at an individual medal.

Little rocky on the landings of a lot of these jumps for Gogolev. I'd have it behind Rizzo even with 2 extra quads.

So now that G/F have their medals, I can whole heartedly root for Piper and Paul in the individual.

It doesn't matter to the results in the TE for Gogolev, but if he keeps skating like this and depending on who skips Worlds/retires, he might be looking at a top six finish in Prague. He's skating for the next quad.

Another excellent skate for Stephen. He has really done himself proud, and he's set up to have a good finish in the individual event.

Nah, TES has already dropped 3 points during the review. Matteo will beat him on both TES & PCS.
