Good for Gubanova for skating clean - definitely will be behind Gutmann and I'm thinking it may even be behind Shin unless the judges are very generous with PCS.

Gubanova is actually performing, which in past seasons hasn't really been something we could count on. Rotations seem like an issue though, and the last spin wasn't great.

Good performance, but the jumps were tight, and this should go behind Naki Gutmann.

67.79 = 3rd Place

Axel was slightlyyyyy shaky trying to extend out. Certainly not her usual. Judges have it exactly +2.

I have to see the loop again, not the flow she's capable but didn't look terrible. But definitely tighter here than we've seen since her comeback, IMO.

There’s such an ease and control to Liu’s skating. I prefer her to Sakamoto even when both are clean.

Flip reviewed - entry edge? Combo was way across the rink from me. On replay I’d call it 3Lzq+3Lo< but we’ll see what the panel does.

It's a risk vs. reward question. Alyssa is a toss up for 1st vs. 2nd in the short if she skates well, but would be unlikely to finish lower than 2nd. A clean Amber would absolutely win the short, but a miss on the 3A would put her lower than second.

Bit tentative today for Alysa and at least to me, she seemed a bit slower. I might have that behind Gutmann. Though it's still a beautiful SP, even when not perfect.

I would not call that a cloud-like skate Johnny. Of course, earlier he compared Shin to a jellyfish, so there we go.
