What a moment to skate clean in front of a home crowd and a personal best!

There's a commercial on the USA feed where a little girl watches Ilia, takes her tablet upstairs to her attic, sets up her stuffed animals and does her "routine." I did that with gymnastics and Mary Lou Retton. My dad recorded the Olys, and I'd set up my stuffies on the fireplace ledge and do my "routine" on the sofa in a bathing suit. I was four and my mom put me in dance/tumbling that year, with half of the girls in America under the age of 12. That couch routine was my absolute best effort
