Slowing up and really tentative. I'd probably drop this behind even Chan and Howe, but skating in the last group may help them. If I'm brutally honest, I think maybe even Deanna was better. Still, so much to be proud of for them .

In the short program they weaved spell that was unfortunately broken here in the free skate.

SP: 74.60 = 3rd Place
-1.00 = Falls
FS: 125.06 = 8th Place
Total: 199.66 = 6th Place

Sigh, Lia & Trennt have the better Gladiator program of the competition (particularly the music), but they left their best skate in the team event.

I guess he didn't until the others made errors???

I would argue his skate would have been an Olympic moment for him even if he ended up fourth.

I think Li Yu-Hsiang had an Olympic moment in the SP and he was nowhere near a medal. Those are some of the best Olympic moments.

Yikes. That was not the skate they wanted. Looks like they'll have enough TES & SP lead to remain ahead of KamO, but I think this might drop behind ChanHowe - or, at least, it should.

Death spiral issue was unfortunate, the rest was a solid enough program. If they'd given that earlier in the penultimate group, which was the likelier place for them to have ended up after the short, I don't think this would have felt like any sort of letdown.
