He’s TIRED!

Not Madeline Kahn tired.
I’m enjoying the music, sorry his jumps are lacking and his choreo misses some great opportunities to act this song out.

Petr has excellent old-school Russian jump technique, the same kind of Ilia's.
I think it would be interesting to divide the men's field by Russian coach or non- Russian coach, and see if the stylistic differences show a pattern in results...

I'm as big of a supporter of the Ukrainians as the next person, but I'm kind of over their skaters picking music like this to remind us about the war. We're all tired of it too and would like to see it end.

Unable to continue with the momentum he created in the short program unfortunately today. Just couldn't quite find a comfort zone in the program after the mistake on the opening jump.

Gumennik has a nice look on the ice - I found myself wishing he could have switched countries the last 4 years. Maybe he’d have a personality to add to his tech if he’d been competing all these years.
I was just thinking now is a good opportunity to defect to somewhere if possible and get some good coaching. Imagine if he started skating along with Deniss. Lambiel could do something with him.

Is it mathematically possible (based on their BV planned elements) for anyone to break into the top 3 or is the podium a lock even if the top 3 have bad (for them) skates?

I mean, it's certainly mathematically possible any time. All skaters have to do is pop and the base value disappears like I'm hoping all this snow outside is about to do.

Wow, sucks to have to be bummed out by sad music about their friends and families being bombed every night. Maybe one day they'll prioritize your feelings and skate to something perky just for you.
