I actually don't think choreography wise this is a bad program. It's just a bad program for the Taschlers.

I think the Taschlers were good and I like the program. They had some good moments with the music. Their skating skills are incredible.

I am concerned they didn't get within 2 metres of the boards on the Chorey Sq if I am being picky on elements.

I do not like the IAM monopoloy, but it's hard not to look at a team like the Taschlers who have program after program that don't fit them and wonder if IAM would be able to figure out a better style/approach for them.

That's the really frustrating thing. In theory having lots of competing ice dance schools is a good thing. In practice ... we always end up coming back to this.

As always Demougeot and le Mercier rock their combination lift (even if it's... repetitive like many of their other elements by now )
The straight-line lift they did so effectively in the past is now a choreographic lift as a second thought at the very end.

What a wild ride for these two. Seemingly getting dumped at the start of last season, and then getting pushed back up to that second (now third) spot. And then almost pushing for the second spot this season suddenly.

I lovedddddd their material a few years ago. I know this is their vibe and choice for the FD, but I'm feeling something really missing.

I can't believe I'm enjoying D/LM. This free dance had me scratching my head at the beginning of the season, but wow wow wow! Can't wait to see what the next 4 years have in store for them. And I wish they could go to the Olympics.

Yes, but TurkVers skate before DavSmo in this group and they've kept their tango FD from last season, so I think they're likely to bump SmaDie out of the leader's chairs first.

D&LM - I like it but about halfway through I was kind of feeling it was all one level. Use the music well and pick up the detail in it.

I love how French this French team is. You have to think of how things would have gone if it was just them and L/B competing.

I always think Loicia and Theo are doing an "Avatar" program til the music starts.

Not bad, but not my favorite FD they have done.
