Hezly looked way more relaxed than I have ever seen her, and Joscelyn's form is vastly improved. They seem like clear choices barring disaster day 2. I have a soft spot for Skye Blakely, Leanne Wong, and Tiana Sumanasekera and hope two out of three of them round out the last spots. I was probably in the minority who was underwhelmed with Claire Pease even in her win at Classics and don't find her gymnastics engaging. I think she needs a year or two more to gel.

Right now, the most obvious team to me is Hezly, Skye, Josc, and Leanne. If there were no selection camp, I think they would be the team. I think Skye is probably a near lock just because no one but Hezly was close to her on SVs for bars/beam.
Skye and Josc work very well together in the specialist role since they have opposite strengths. Josc would have to be healthy, obviously, after her issues tonight. She's a fighter, though, which you know USAG likes.
One question is who gets to be the second AAer. Leanne looked like she deserved it here, but Jayla Hang just won the AA at Pan American Championships in June and a lot of people are very high on her. Claire Pease won the AA at classics, but Hang has a lot more international senior experience and Hang had a good day 2 at Nationals 3rd on the day, and would have tied Josc for second on day 1). Claire didn't have a great day either day. If Claire or Jayla were to win AA at the selection camp or they were to come in second to Hezly and Leanne were to falter, that would complicate things. I think if Jayla wins AA at the selection camp, she'd be the second AAer. Personally, I'd lean towards Leanne. A lot of people have said that Leanne's SVs mean she has to get great E scores to contend, but Jayla's are not noticibly higher.
Leanne could go as a vault specialist if Josc can't go and Jayla is the second AAer, but I don't realistically know how well her Cheng would score internationally. Ashlee Sullivan did great on floor. Hang has a second vault and has won international vault titles, but she didn't vault twice here.
