Dayan… Dress, yes. Music, no. Not bad for her skill level.

Tirado… Dress, too many ideas. Music, snoozy and angsty. Similar skills as Dayan but not presented as well.

Bhasin… Dress, I don’t get it. Music, mildly interesting. Slow and plodding making sure she got her tech done. Showed a bit of personality in the SS.

Lahti. Dress, On first glance, it’s Rizzo turtleneck green but I think it’s grey. Nice design. Music, snoozy. Carriage and speed a noticeable step up for this group.

I have an errand to do and will miss group 2.

Looks like a dark Army green on my TV screen. The skirt has several chiffon layers in various shades of green & one layer of beige with grey airbrushed edges and her leotard underneath is a forest green.

Loving the early US start time, which makes this great to watch from Europe . Also generally like the zoomed out camera on the warmup so we can follow whomever we want.

So far I've seen Isabeau land 2A, 3S, 3Lz (entry looked less telegraphed?), and 3F+3T with usual caveats. I couldn't quite see what I think was her 3F+2A sequence - only the takeoff.

ETA: Just saw Levito do 3Lo+2T+2Lo confirming my suspicions that she'll be repeating the loop rather than the lutz.

It really is too bad that the US figure skating rinks are smaller than what international skaters are used to. Poor Minchae Kim!

Kim, M.

3t-3t, 3f fall, 3s, nice use of arms, popped the flip and lutz. Not nearly her best jumps day. She'd need to have really great outings to move into the top tier for Korea, but she's a decent skater in the Sr B tier, glorious Ina Bauer

Is the SCOB rink not Olympic-sized? Usually, when US rinks are smaller, it's due to hockey, but this is a figure skating rink.

I like the deep purple of Josephine's dress. I hate the sleeve-y things on the forearms.

Josephine Lee
Scheherazade

3Lo
3F+2T
3Lz (ETA: looked < on replay)
3S
combo spin with cool inside edge back camel
3F+2A quick step out
3Lo<+COMBO
change edge spiral at the same point in the music where Michelle Kwan did hers IIRC
3T likely < turnout +2T
Touch the boards moment for the bingo'ers among the group
Nice layback to close

Kind of a paint-by-numbers program.

Lee, J.

3r to open, 3f-2t bent picking knee technique, 3z, 3s that one looked around to me, 3f-2a spun out on axel landing (short), visible problems on the second half jumps with landing short and stepping out, needs to work on stamina and interpreting the music, early season performance

If you aren't a fast skater, I don't think "Schez" is the music for you. A few nice jumps, but also a lot of questionable ones for Josephine Lee. This program needs a lot more cooking. Not a fan of the half sleeve look.
