Okay, replenished my hydro-flask and Bandit's food bowl, all set for the last two groups of Men.

Tara Lipinski has taken Georgie skating already. I suppose it could be that he was taken skating at age one and basically skimmed over the ice while being held up under the arms.

Well, maybe so. But he would have had to have someone holding him up under the arms .... unless he started walking at 6 months.

David Li kept his "Where's My Love" by SYML (choreo. by Joey Russell) from last season. Ravi Walia is with him in the k&c, like at Challenge.

ETA: 65.04 2nd behind John Kim's 71.32.

Whelp, Edrian Paul won't be making a run at one last 4CCs representing Canada.

Good Lord, Ted is annoying waxing on about fans in the stands at last when he's commentating remotely from Vancouver.

Bit of a rough skate for Edrian. At age 26, it has to be discouraging. I know, 26 is a baby in life but getting old for a singles skater. Wish him all the best in the FS.

(From GSD) The last section of Rob Brodie's Substack article yesterday is about Edrian Paul Celestino - an excerpt:
While he kept training in Montreal, where he was born, Celestino represented the Philippines for four years internationally, most notably making three appearances at Four Continents with a best placement of 17th in 2023. But as time rolled on, injuries kept piling up and taking their toll on his body. It made him decide that this season would be his last. With the Canadian Championships coming to Laval, Celestino knew exactly where he wanted his swan song to take place. Back to where it all started for him.
“I’m 26 years old. I feel like I could still go on, but my body is telling me no due to multiple injuries, recurring injuries,” he said. “I’m actually injured right now. I have a joint that’s swollen in my second toe, so I have trouble with any jumps off that foot. When I found out nationals would be in Laval, I thought it would be a great fairytale ending do to my last competition here.”
