I don't think we've heard anything - but, at best, he'd be petitioning for a spot on the 4CCs team where Skate Canada is surely going to have a skate off to pick their Worlds entrant.

Waddell has lovely presentation but the jumps are a bit all over the place. Hard to imagine going from ice dance to singles instead of the other way around like Charlie White did. (Well he did both up until turning senior).

Grayson was 7th in Juniors last year and skated on the JGP. He can now be no lower than 6th in this depleted Sr. field.

Oh my gosh, I was wondering how Kevin Reynolds was going to try to put a positive spin on Bruce's performance. "A challenge," he says. Yes, it was. Let's face it ... Canada is just not very strong in senior men's competition right now. Well ... okay ... most of us have already faced that fact. Oh well, they try their best and I guess that's all we can ask. I'm old enough to remember when there was always a top male singles skater from Canada and then you could see the "next one" coming along. And, I'm sure those days will come again. Patience is a virtue, they say ... we must be patient.

Competing here today? Sadovksy, Newnham & Celestino. Rakic, Gogolev & Chiu also have them. Newnham & Celestino are only 4CCs, not Worlds.
