No. He wore gloves in the SP too. I think he doesn't want us to know he didn't have time to go to the nail salon before 4CCs.

My guess is that he probably painted them too late last night and got sheet marks on them. Thus, the gloves. It happens.

OMG! You're right! But just one hand. Look at his hands in the KnC. One hand has sharp, pointed nails and the other has closely trimmed nails with no color.
