COC was a devastating competition for G/P not only withdrawing but seeing there most likely domestic challenger for a Olympic spot skating so well.

C/B obviously feel they haven't achieved all their goals. They want an individual medal at the Olympics, preferably gold. They're so close it would be very hard to expect them to bow out gracefully before they get another chance to go after that medal. Barring injury or illness they'll be at the Olympics.

Coming here to say having seen it in motion it's a no for me. She isn't wearing the costume, the costume is wearing her.

That's a good way to put it. The costume is wearing her. It looks so heavy, like it's dragging her down. It may make them look slower than they are or it may actually make them slower. They need to lose it. Immediately.

I'm still mad they said they stayed in the game because they had more "great ideas" only for these ideas to be peak underwhelming. Bullfighter and bull is the tired, overdone stuff the ISU is trying to get out of ice dance. It's not inherently bad per se, it's just not exciting because it's been done so much. Maybe not recently, but certainly for countless ODs back in the day.

I wish they would bring back their 2018/19 FD because I personally loved it - so much charm and chemistry. Felt like a dance and was gimmick free. I understand why they wouldn't bring it back but still.

I’m kind of sad that we didn’t get a Carmen Flamenco via Carlos Saura’s film from C/B, with Chock as Carmen and Bates as Escamillo. It’s such a great soundtrack, and they could have been smoking in it.

here is a dumb question. I know Kolesnik got his citizenship. But how did he get his green card in the first place? was it the exceptional athlete route?

Kolesnik's chronology:
He has lived in the U.S. since at least as far back as 2017. (Maybe 2016.)
He received his green card in 2020.
He received U.S. citizenship in 2025.

(He started representing U.S. at 2017 JGPs.)

They should have made the Olympics, they were so underrated. Their very first FD (Michael Buble before he was overplayed) is one of my all time favourites.

They have continued to skate together in the Sun Valley shows every summer. I think Brent might live in Sun Valley year-round now, and Kim travels for a couple of shows each year.

After seeing their great FD at Bolero Cup, Cui/Rogers seem more than ready for a Challenger.

A bit surprised that there is nothing for the Peals though, not even one of the PAYG B events. They had some decent scores in Lake Placid and their summer competitions.

Couple interesting tidbits regarding training, injuries such as Vadym requiring surgery, potential other RD songs they were looking into. Also interesting comments they’re received from other coaches/people in skating when they first formed.

Probably so. But I don't think they can win gold. And with the scores so far, I am starting to think that US Champions might be slipping away, too. Z/K and CarPon are right on their heels, nipping away. Just a feeling I have. I don't think it's a lock, at all.
