ISU revealed the vote tally.

Only 6 people bothered to vote. Eligible voters were every Pairs athletes who competed in GPs or Challenger Series in 2025/26.
It was actually a 3-3 tie. But as a Canadian won the Speed Skating Rep (and there can't be two athletes from same country in the Athlete Commission), Sui got the Pairs position.
If Stellato and Sui voted for themselves....it means only 4 other voters...if they convinced Han and Deschamps to vote...it would mean 2 other pair skaters voting...
