Has there been a rotated jump among the last three skaters? I'm not sure. (I didn't watch the first two skaters.)

The poor panel :yikes:. I guess they'll be on strike by the time of Sakamoto.

I realize Seoyeong is landing stuff but is anybody buying what she's selling performance-wise?

So this panel tells us what is already known- most skaters cannot rotate their jumps, but they go from competition to competition with people really believing they somehow clean everything up from week to week. And most skaters do all flips or all Lutz edges.

This needs to stay consistent. Sakamoto needs e calls on both Lutzes in her free skate. it's hilarious to me she did one Lutz in her free skate her entire career and she threw another one in this year because 99% of the panels just don't care. Someone even gave her +4 for it in the SP, along with all +3.

Insane.

I love how Chris is telling us all these jumps are fantastic and beautiful as if the tech panel isn't going to find something to nitpick on the rotations or edges for all skaters who do not have the initials KS.

ETA - oh, now that Lara's popped several jumps, he's saying they may look at her takeoff edge, lol.

Nice use of her long limbs. Her previous two seasons free skate that included Psycho was good in theory but it didn't really come alive until the end. I felt this program was much more balanced and flowed well. Big jumps when she landed them, but lots of doubles.

I think she skated at least part of this as a short program maybe?

Just don't think this is the best program for her. Nessun Dorma more or less makes everyone look artistic, but she's sooo choppy when she's going around the ice and the jumps are tight. The step sequence really pales in comparison to a lot of other top skaters, too, in both programs. She just does not move effortlessly.

Another skater where I think both programs (but especially the short) are just a complete mismatch.

Generous score for Tennell given what she did. Maybe the panel is tired. I'd have called several underrotations in that program, plus a ! or even e on her lutzes.

Nope, the 3+3 same story on rotation.

It still makes me almost break out into giggles that the song I always wanted played at the end of the night of bartending is what she's skating to. I want to love the program for it, and I love the Megamix version, but it just loses me.

Yep. But the 2x was nice.
... I would hope so. It's a double Axel. if she can't do that then there's some big trouble.

Salchow was WAY short. << territory.

I suspect the flips may both be a little bit short, the second more than the first.
