Lindsay looks injured to me. The jump rotation issues are beyond just technique not keeping up with age. I wouldn’t be surprised if there’s a knee injury or something there. She’s getting no height on her jumps.

Combo sketchy as ever. But the panel has been quite lenient thus far and maybe she will escape what some callers may have done with that.

Beautiful SP, like I said last week it may very well be the best program again this season. The jump technique is going nowhere. The 3T on the end of anything is very, very short.

Her good results come solely from a panel that looks the other way, and that's just one of the many reasons that make this sport so foolish sometimes.

Bring Sandra Bezic back full-time.

Great recovery by Lindsay after the first fall. I thought she travelled a bit on her flying camel spin but it got level 4, so I guess maybe not. I agree with Mark, though, that her spins generally are a joy to watch.

Four skaters in this field were at 2022 Jr. Worlds

Thorngren (3rd), Yun (4th), Petrokina (9th), Schild (16th). Interesting to see their various career paths since.

ETA: Thorngren and Petrokina each have 1 GP medal. Schild’s finished top-5 at Euros. She and Petrokina regularly represent their countries at Worlds and Yun is still trying to make her mark.

Travelling doesn’t have anything to do with levels. It should impact the GOE though.

She's unpolished, but there's so much potential.
I agree and she is still young so likely focusing all her energy on technically setting up the jumps. I am sure that’s why the coaches found a themed program for her now they need to choreograph some emotions or music she can relate to so happens naturally. I agree lots of potential.

I hate this music, but that was a really good skate for Lara! TES almost as high as Sarah's, at least for the moment.

That was great from Gutmann. I mean would be lovely if she actualy rotated her jumps and single footed, but damn!

Not unless she actually fully engages with audience and her expression goes up about 20 notches at some point in this season. She's really only marginally better than Everhardt in that regard.
She's no Aymoz but can't agree at all. She gives oomph to her skating. Everhardt could literally be skating to anything and couldn't look more bored. See how Lara looks UP and to the judges and audience?

Gutmann is in and out of her expression. As I said, she's marginally better than Everhardt. And the judges agree. Her PCS is barely a point higher than Sarah.
