2021 Worlds - Where to Watch

The USU just released its 'Where to Watch' document: https://www.isu.org/figure-skating/...d-skating-championships-2021?templateParam=15

The US and Canada will be able to access the Youtube livestream in addition to the Peacock and (minimal) CBC coverage. The BBC will be showing Worlds too in the UK! Currently the schedule is showing the pairs/ladies free only but lists those as 1 and 2 of 6 programs - maybe they will show the gala too ?

USA is usually blocked from the ISU's YT livestream due to NBC's broadcast rights - I wonder if the * is an error? (Also, the URL linked from "Peacock" in the table is wrong/broken.)

ETA that the USA broadcast coverage has since been updated with correct links (copied out below) but the * is still there so I guess we'll have to wait and see...

So yeah, looks like we are back to Peacock being the only way (other than a shared stream via another country) to guarantee full viewing in the US.

The Peacock free week or month should still be around, too.

Eurosport Spain currently have the Ladies SP and Pairs SP as broadcasted COMPLETE & LIVE on Eurosport 1

By the way, Eurosport Spain will have Javier Fernandez as guest for live commentary of the Wordl Championships, he will be along the usual Senra & Yanez couple that has commentated skating like forever for the spanish feed.

I haven't been able to find the skating on Peacock since about midnight last night. I'd like to put it all in my watchlist and make sure I did the time conversions correctly.

All World Championships should be on the West Coast so (a) I don't have to struggle with these ludicrous time conversions,and (b) the event shall properly coincide with cocktail time.

Eurosport1 in Hungary will show everything,it is sure as I am one of the commentators, MTVA will show also the Worlds during the night,probably recorded

Practices are never broadcasted unless a tv station records and share it (like NBC did with the 2018 Olympics) maybe Russia could do something about with their quad teens? but who knows.

When I click on "Browse" and then go to "Sports" and all of the "Live/Upcoming Live" - they're all listed. It was a bit of a chore but I've added them successfully to my watchlist.

Worlds events are now up as of this AM. I've added everything to my watchlist and adjusted my calendar entries to match the times Peacock is showing.

I was wondering if people can see the scheduled competition streams on the ISU youtube channel yet? I can see the scheduled streams for post competition press conferences, but not the actual competitions, so wondering if the competition stream will work in Canada or not.

I can see them on the Live Streams Stockholm 2021 playlist.

I also tested yesterday with a couple GP events to confirm that they weren’t geoblocked in Canada and all seemed to be OK. I would assume if they aren’t geoblocked that Worlds wouldn’t be either.

I know there is the option of watching on the CBC app, but there are a variety of reasons too boring to list that I would prefer YouTube, so I’m glad it looks like it’s still available here.

I tried to VPN to a few other countries and it's blocked in all of them too, currently. So maybe things will change before tomorrow morning. I better download the CBC app just in case though. I can't believe they don't have one for Apple TV.

Mexico is listed in ISU World Figure Skating Championships 2021 live stream and broadcast schedule -document having Sky Sport Mexico as the broadcaster.
